Twenty-five years · Brand, strategy, results
We work out what your marketing should do. Then we do it.
Twenty-five years of getting the brand, the positioning and the plan right before anyone spends a penny on advertising. Quick wins where they genuinely exist, and the compound gains that are still paying three years later.
Most businesses don’t need more marketing. They need a plan.
You have a website. Someone runs the Google Ads. There is a LinkedIn page, an SEO invoice arriving every month, and a designer who does the brochures.
What you probably don’t have is a straight answer to one question: which of those is bringing in work?
That is where we start. Not with a channel. Not with a proposal for something we happen to sell. With your margins, your sales process, and where the next two years of growth is realistically going to come from.
The plan comes out of that. The activity comes out of the plan. We have been working this way since 2001.
“Marketing should be answerable to the board in the same language as everything else. Enquiries. Orders. What it cost to win them.”
Five things, done well
We stopped trying to be a full-service agency a long time ago. This is the list, and it is deliberately short.
Marketing strategy
The flagship. An audit of what you have, an honest read on your market, and a plan built around commercial objectives. Also where our fractional marketing director work sits.

Getting found for what your buyers type when they are ready to order. Part numbers. Material grades. British Standards. Not the vanity terms.

Campaigns judged on what an enquiry cost, not how many clicks arrived. Most of the work is reading the search terms report and blocking the waste.

WordPress, WooCommerce and Elementor. Online catalogues, technical product data, trade accounts and quote requests — built around how you sell.

A plan behind the posting, your branding carried through every channel, and LinkedIn and Facebook run by people who understand what you make.
Social mediaThree things that make us awkward, in a good way
We will tell you to spend less
Not every problem is a marketing problem. Sometimes the answer is a cheaper piece of positioning work, or fixing the thing that loses the enquiry after it arrives.
We sit in the meeting
Pricing, a new product, a distributor that is not performing, a tender that needs support. We would rather be in the room early than handed the brief late.
We say no to work
If marketing is not actually the problem we will say so, and if a job needs someone better suited to it we will point you at them rather than take it on.
If you make something, we speak your language
A good share of our work is with manufacturers and engineering firms. It is a sector where generic marketing falls over quickly.
The sales cycle runs for months. The person searching is an engineer or a buyer who knows the product category better than most marketers ever will. There is often a distributor network to support rather than undercut.
- Positioning a technical buyer believes
- Catalogues built around how specifiers search
- Search visibility for part numbers and standards
Where every engagement starts
One plan, one budget, and a straight answer about what it returned.

Twenty-five years, five services, and one argument we keep winning: marketing works when it starts with the business.
Tell us what you are trying to grow
A first conversation costs nothing and usually clarifies more than you expect. If we are not right for it, we will say so.
